ESPN to no longer broadcast MLB after this season.

I'm not a fan of how ESPN has broadcast baseball the last 20 years. WAY too much hype and "entertainment". However, I do think there needs to be a non-streaming national game of the week (or games). Maybe FOX can pick up the slack. I guess this means we'll see more minor sports & non-revenue sports where they can have something "live" (like corn hole, slapping championships, 3-on-3 street hoops, x games, HS sports, etc) and the sport is just glad they're there. Thoughts?

ESPN, MLB to end broadcast deal after 2025

ESPN's coverage of Major League Baseball games will conclude at the end of the 2025 season, it was announced on Thursday.

Good. I don't like espn baseball games. Maybe TNT or TBS will pick it up? I just hope it isn't Peacock or Apple
