Question: Ever have Bama dreams or nightmares?

Do you ever have dreams or nightmares about Bama or Bama games?

Just last night I had one where I was viewing the stat page for the opening quarter of the aTm game. It showed
that aTm had 754 yards on their opening drive! It also said that Bama hurried Manziel 88 times. :conf3:

The first TV I looked at showed aTm up 14-0. I went to another one which had us down 7-0, and another at 7-6.

Needless to say I was glad when I awoke from that nightmare.

I have a recurring nightmare in which I keep trying to get to Bryant-Denny stadium but keep getting farther away. Everytime I turn a corner the stadium has somehow moved farther away from me, and kickoff keeps getting closer and closer. Right before kickoff I wake up sweating. I hate that one.

After the 1995 UThug game when Peyton threw a TD pass on the first play from scrimage and it just got worse from there, I got home went to bed and my mother said she heard me yelling in my sleep STOP PLAYING THAT DAMN ROCKY TOP!!!! When she woke me up I was so happy she did because I couldn't wake myself up and really wanted to wake up.

I have had some strange dreams about Bama. One time, I dreamed that we were playing a Canadian team in the first ever USA-Canada college football game. The team was called the Blue King University Fish Rocks or some kind of craziness like that! Another time, I dreamed we were hosting Florida State at BBS. I was mad when I woke up and realized that it was just a dream, because I remember thinking in the dream how nice it would be to pay them back for that 2007 fiasco. Another time, I dreamed we played Miami, but it wasn't the Hurricanes, and it wasn't Miami-Ohio either. It was some team called the Miami Sawyers, and they weren't located in south Florida. In another crazy dream, we were playing at Air Force and I was at the game and I fell off of a balcony and landed unharmed on the sidelines right next to Brodie Croyle, Charlie Stubbs, and Kriby Smart. :conf2: :smile:

Forgot to add that the stat page showed BYU with the most yards in a game at 3,000!

I had 2 nightmares about the Alabama-LSU game on Friday night. We were losing, but the sense of dread as a result was somehow worse than watching us actually lose. That's the first time I recall having a nightmare about Alabama Football. As a result, I was on pins and needles all day.

I never remember what I dream.... but this morning my wife said that she told me to get up and cut the alarm off, and I muttered "I will as soon as AJ finishes this drive".

So I guess I do dream about football.

Back during the 7 game losing streak to TN, I was constantly having dreams of us beating UT @ Neyland Stadium and being in attendance. That actually happened in 2002.

The nightmare did not end.

Oh well. It's a bit shocking that we lost, but I remember all those 70's teams (and the 1980 team also) that would run roughshod over 9 opponents during the season and then would have one sloppy game that ended their chances at a championship.

It's extremely hard to win them all. We'll look back at the 2009 team and appreciate their accomplishment more and more over time.

Crazy, but I've only had two football dreams in my life. Once against AU two years ago and then again two nights before we played LSU this year. In both dreams, the dream ended before the outcome of the game. Against AU we were winning and in the LSU dream we were winning 14-0. As you could imagine, I was extemely excited when LSU kicked a field goal to start the game!
