I'm no prude, BT, but one of the main reason I like this board is for the solid standards it enforces. My 14 year-old son is now a member. We don't live in the same city, but between the cell phone and TideFans.com, we have a lot to talk about. He loves Alabama football just like I do.

Many of the other boards I belong to have gotten really bad, even some of the paying sites. TideFans hasn't been allowed to sink to that level.

Keep up the good work. It is very appreciated.

It's not my stand alone. We do not approve of gross vulgarity or obscenity or any explicit reference to pornography or sexually suggestive content.

Tidefans has a profanity filter to edit out certain words yet some continue to think it cute to get around the filter using creative typing.

We have to go through this every few months and to be honest, there are a few who keep doing it, but won't be for much longer. I am not a complete prude but some of the things I have been editing are obvious.
