It is really frustrating watching FSU's QB be mediocre to terrible against everyone else.

Looking at those stats just doesn’t jive with my memories of that day. DadgumI get it, but to be fair, Castellanos had a pretty mundane day against Bama - Bama just failed to show up with any effort:

Literal lack of effort, which (sadly) points directly to the coaching staff.Yeah, it still baffles me how we lost to these chumps.

If Bama had shown up and given 10% more it would have been a W. But they didn't and history is written by the victors, so to speak...
Thank you. The Garcia thing gets on my nerves...think it was RBR who did a deep dive years ago and virtually all of the so called "career day beat Bama" stereotypes were inaccurate statisticallyI think Alabama fans tend to overhype mediocre quarterbacks who beat us to the point that they lose sight on what actually beat us. I would say a far bigger issue vs FSU was that their running backs hit 152 yards and 3 of them were averaging 4 yards a carry. It’s like every Alabama fan who hypes up Stephen Garcia… he had an elevated day for him but it really was an average day overall. What beat us that day was Lattimore and their defense totally shut down our running game.
FSU was basically South Carolina 2010. We got punched in the mouth by someone punching above their weight on the road and we never recovered. If we played either game 10 times we win 9 of them.
