Game Thread: Friday 9/26/25 games

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

did you guys know that this fsu team beat Alabama in the first game this year?
I think I heard Alabama , who is not playing in this game, had 32 rushing yards on 17 carries after the first drive. Lowest total for a season opener since 1986. I wonder why those stats are pertinent to a game they aren’t even playing in.

just flush that game. Explain it however you want, they weren’t ready to play. Maybe that is the game they needed to get their head on straight. Unfortunately, we will hear about it for the rest of the season.

They went out there on that first drive vs FSU ready to play and showed it. Then FSU smacked them in the mouth and their knees buckled, they never recovered. Hopefully they respond to adversity in Athens better than they did in Tallahassee.

I feel like Virginia is going to win this game 49-42

Virginia is going to win this game....they will rush the field because FSU is where they are because we wet the bed. So Virginia can thank Bama for their goal posts getting torn down.

You can be sure Kirby is going to try to find out if "we are man enough" early.

The QB played terrible with multiple turnovers in each of those game. I think that has been corrected. We will see.
That's the downside to having a weak running game, you force yourself into putting the game in the QBs hands. Which as far as I can tell has not been corrected. Haynes ran all over Oklahoma this year, got 3 carries against them last year.

Not trying to argue though, I hope FSU pulls this out and Alabama beats Georgia tomorrow. Just not feeling great, wasn't feeling great after being at the Wisconsin game either. Just doesn't look like a complete team.

But, they play the games for a reason.

They didn’t play that well on the first drive, it took 17 plays and a 4th down conversion. FSU started out expecting a pass happy Alabama offense and didn’t get it. They were surprised but adjusted. Bama ran out of scripted plays .

Haynes didn’t run all over OU. The first play from scrimmage to open the second half went for 75, other than that he carried 18 times for 50 yards or less than 3 yards per carry. He struggled all game outside of the one carry.
