With all the problems UT has it is a shame Kiffin is not there to get his beat down from each coach he rubbed the wrong way. Looking back at UT's team last year, a good argument could be made he under achieved. Tennessee had some very good players depart from last years team and several of Kiffin's top recruits proved to have matching character of their coach.

We didn't beat the Vols down last year like I though we would..But I'm actually glad how the game ended..The Vols thought they were going to kick the FG and beat us..To snatch the "taste of victory" out of their mouth & administer the "agony of defeat" was awesome..It made the victory so much sweeter..

Personally I disagree. I do not think that he will last four years. I believe that he is an embarrassment to U$C and an inherited problem for their new AD. My guess is that he'll be on a short leash. Any violations of NCAA rules, and they will make an example of him to show the NCAA that they have turned over a new leaf. And Lame cannot go very long before he breaks an NCAA rule. He does not know most of the rules, and those that he does know he feels do not apply to him.

coolness under fire... gimme a break. Most people who act that way either 1) dont give a rip or 2) dont have the temerity to understand what is really going on around them or how to address it.

At this point I would not be adopting crisis management skills from our President. Kiffin is nothing but a mercenary and cancer that will consume all the resources around him. Just give it time.
