Crime Blotter: Georgia player arrest catch all thread - the thread we never knew we needed

I'm guessing that the Fulmer Cup is no longer around because it would take a supercomputer to calculate the standings. 🙄

Wonder if someone could find a Cray on eBay really cheap...🤔😉

I'd like to know who Beck is going to throw to now that Bowers, McConkey and likely Ra Ra Thomas are gone. Not sure they have the talent to overcome that loss and be the SEC champs.

As I recall, many of Georgia's best football players were pushed out of the program after trouble before Coach Kirby took the reigns. I'm sure their boost in on the field performance and their perceived increases in crime rate correlate somehow.

"I am pleased that bond could be set and Mr. Thomas released while we fully investigate the case," Kim Stephens, Thomas' lawyer, said in a statement. "We expect that this matter can be resolved swiftly and fairly once all facts are known."

“Resolved” as in pay off the victims to forget what happened?

That's EXACTLY what it means.

Just see if he misses any practice time...

If there is never any consequences for bad behavior, the bad behavior will continue unabated until there are MORE serious consequences. Examples abound in the NFL
uga and kirby don't care about guilt or innocence. They only care about championships. He will end up back on the team and starting game 1. and the media will talk about him overcoming adversity.

I keep hearing pundits suggest 'Kirby is doing everything he can' about the massive amount of criminal activity from UGA players, but aside from this clown, how many have been suspended?

All 'Smart' cares about is winning, literally.
There was a time, not too long ago, when Kirby would have been fired for a lot less than this. I am not sure when or how, but we have lost our compass.

I was watching Swamp Kings about Urban Meyer and the Gators under Tebow.
One of the players had two parents but they both had a drinking problem. The parents went to meet with Urban Meyer about their son (and playing time, I think) and it seems came to the meeting drunk.
When the meeting was over and the parents were gone, Urban hugged the player and said, "Those are the craziest parents I have ever seen."
I can imagine the family life some of these players come from.

That`s the primary reason IMO that in recruiting , " commitment" should be in " "

Speaking of trouble with the POPO, I didn't know our buddy agiye hall got busted with 40 pounds weed. At the airport of all places. Just sentenced to 18 months probation. Oh well.
