Re: Glenn Coffee

So glad for our guys in the draft. Coffee is a good pick for them.

BTW, San Fran is making off like a fat rat in the draft! Crabtree & Coffee!

Re: Glenn Coffee

Congrats to Glen! Yeah the 49er's have done pretty well so far. Great to see Rashad go to Arizona and Antoine to Houston. We should start getting used to this because we're gonna see alot more players going higher up in the draft every year.

Re: Glenn Coffee

I hope you're right. This has been a lot of fun being able to cheer for those guys to get drafted high. Every time I see one of their names go up I get to cheer a little bit. I hope they all have great careers in the NFL. Now we just gotta see if JPW gets taken somewhere in the draft. I'm cheering for him!

Especially when the Julio's, Ingrams, Richardson's McElroy's and McClain's get ready!

Re: Glenn Coffee

their depth chart consists of Thomas Clayton, Frank Gore, Moran Norris and Michael Robinson. He's got a shot........
Disregard that depth chart. Norris is a FB and Mike Robinson will be mostly used as a special teams guy and a 3rd down back. So Glen is automatically 1B on the depth chart with Gore. Make no mistake, it's still Gore's team, but as much as Coach Sing wants to run the ball, this will be a back by committe deal, EXACTLY like we had at Bama last season (but with Coffee in the role of Ingram and Crabtree in the role of Julio Jones and Shaun Smith as JP....do enough for us to win, just don't lose the game). The similarities are downright frightening. The Niners don't, however, have the overpowering O-line that we had last year.

As a lifelong 49er fan, I'm on absolute Cloud 9!!!!!!

Crabtree, Coffee, the McKillop kid from Pitt, QB Nate Davis from Ball St., a great blocking TE in Bear Pascoe (GREAT name by the way), and the two LSU standouts, Curtis Taylor and Ricky Jean-Francois. Every one of those guys should be on the field next season.

For the first time since I was an adolescent, the world is spinning back correctly on its axis. Bama is heading back to the top. And the Niners are putting the pieces in place to do the same thing. I haven't been this happy in a long time.
