Guillon breaks silence on his quitting team

I'm baffled much more by the fan uproar than Marc's leaving.

I know if I weren't happy in a situation, I would try to improve it.
If it couldn't be improved, I would get out of it if I could.
The last thing on my mind would be the impression my actions would make on a bunch of people I never even met, who don't know anything about what's going on, and who never appreciated me in the first place.

To all you Guillon bashers, go live your own lives and let Marc live his.

See, I'm not. You basically have 3 camps of people.

Camp One is not happy with Shula and they look for anything to confirm their beliefs. To them this is another sign they are right in their thoughts. Camp Two is staunchly behind Shula and they don't like what Camp One is saying. These two camps are trying to steal the other's flag in a heated conflict. Camp Three is just chilling, taking it all in, and wondering why Will Roach's resignation didn't cause this much emotional distress amongst the other camps.

Doug Guillon said he was done with Chico and planned to move to Idaho. The prop-up building he was constructing last summer when Measure A was hot has yet to be completed.

When the going gets tough, quit.
