I'll say from the outset that I think Massie signs with us, and I wouldn't be shocked if he were a silent commitment right now. However...

Don't get too carried away just yet. From what I can gather, this all started on TI where some poster said that Massie had committed and Andrew Bone would have a story up soon, and from there it has spread to the four corners of the Internet. However, with that in mind, I have seen nothing to yet that would indicate Bone is reporting, or going to report, that Massie has committed to us. And it seems like BOL has deleted some posts on the subject.

Don't get me wrong, I think we ultimately get him, but this may be a bit premature.

Perhaps though you're thinking of Morgan Moses who was possibly leaning towards committing to Tennessee prior to the coaching change.

Massie is a Hargrave prep student who probably would've signed to Va Tech last year had he been able to qualify. He ruled Va Tech out relatively early this year though

Any thoughts on why he ruled out Va. tech so early? And what was his Rivals rank last year? (I.E 4 Star, 5 Star?)
