It sounded like he made a mistake his sophomore year and forgot about it and then his HS counselor and university officials probably didn't do their homework until it was too late. Yes I agree that the HS curriculum is easy but some kids do struggle in individual subjects which doesn't mean their lazy or incompetent. Hopefully our coaches and administration will be more diligent in the future to uncover these problems before its too late.
