Help!!! Game Day Route to Stadium?

We have a parking pass for Lot A and according to the directions we need to skirt the city via interstate, but according to the map I can cut a ton of driving time off by getting off at Jefferson St and taking it to Spring St and turning right on N 1 st Street. Question is can I do this or is there some obstacle in the way i.e. contruction, barricades, cops directing game day traffic etc. One of you Nashville people will have to answer this if you can, I'm coming from Brentwood. :eek2:

If I were you, I'd get off the Intersrate at the Colesium at Shelby. The signs will take you right to your lot. I wouldn't mess with Jefferson St.

I second that. I got a parking pass too. Those directions on there are screwed up.

I agree, the interstate is by far the best option. Those secondary streets will be difficult to navigate since the Woodland Street bridge is closed. The key will be the time in which you arrive, the lots open a 9am and I will recommend that you show up around that time. Exits on Shelby Ave. or James Robertson should be satisfactory.

Yes, do the interstate. But I read this morning parking will actually open at 7:00 given the pregame concert, etc. Good luck.

If you are parking downtown and walking to the stadium, you need to be in your parking space by 8:30. They are shutting down the streets at 8:30.

I'm sitting in my kids house in Inglewood and, after checking, we see no word about downtown streets being closed...
