Hogs too cocky?

Its obvious to me that they definatly are. And why? They have played a texas team that is always hyped up and never plays well. They are also coached horribly, texas that is. Also the other two victories come at the expense of the 94th ant the 115th ranked teams out of 117. By the way ALABAMA in the same computer rankings is 28th and sooie U is 41st. I do think nutter is a good coach, but they will come up against a well rounded team the likes they have not seen this year. Let them strutt and squiel because in the end the only thing that matters is on the score board. I am still not convinced that staying with an over rated longhorn team (once again) makes them a force. They lost a ton of senior leadership and we shall see how the youngens hold up. We shadow jones and keep him in check with a backer and we win this game. Period. :biggrin2:

I've never seen a team lose to another overated team (Texas) and still think (in their hog minds) that there are some kind of Top 10 team. Remeber 2 yrs ago when they thought they were the best team in the Nation only lose to Bama at their house! Please Arkansas, ENOUGH! :mad2:

Don't forget you guys, you're new to the SEC Game! You don't have the History like the Georgia's / LSU's / Tennessee's much as I can stand any of those teams! At least they paid their dues.......to the conference.

They put over $100 million into that stadium and it's nice and plenty big, and has the world's largest JumboTron as well.

Even with Fran we shouldn't went to the SEC Championship Game 2002, only reason why we didn't is because of NCAA nonsense!

I grew up close to Fayetteville, and I can tell you it is a tough place to play. We had success there two years ago, but I believe that you have to go all the way back to 1994 and the Jay Barker years to see a time that we won there before. Good or not, we will need our "A" game to beat this Arkie team in Fayetteville, just like we did in '02 when we broke a TD run on the first play from scrimmage if I remember correctly. Anything less and we will lose.

Arkansas has already played in more SEC Championship games as MSU, OM, Vandy, KY, and USC. And in as many as Auburn, Georgia, and LSU.

I'm not a Hog fan by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, I really, really don't like 'em!!!! However, between their two championship game experiences (albeit blowout losses) to their legendary OT games against Ole Miss, KY, and UT, they have added quite a bit of color and value to our league.

Their fans in general don't seem to be, but I consider their program an asset to the SEC.

Not flaming you; but just making a point.

That said, I hope we beat them like a rented mule on Saturday!

Isn't that the truth?? I went over to the Arkansas Rivals board. They had a post titled "tidefans.com" I clicked on it and some poor soul was whining about how we wouldn't let him post on this site-he kept getting deleted.

They just don't understandnice manners...

Once again Did you ever see a thread bragging on BAMAs schedule strength so far? I havent. We know we havent played as strong a schedule as in the past. But all weve heard is how great the hawgs are because who theyve played. I believe yall are thankful to be 2-1 at this point. After all the defections and graduations yall are surprised to be where you are. texas is texas and to me no judging stick. We might not could beat them but they if we got beat by them that would not be thing to brag about in my book. we have wet our feet in the sec with a weak ole miss team but we also have a "w" in the columb. :wink:

Arkie is a decent team with a better than average coach. It should be a fun game to watch. Bama by 14.
