I they need asylum, come on in. I'd much rather my taxes go towards helping those in need than sending hundreds of millions of dollars worth of guided missiles into some country in the ME.

I'd vote for none of the above given the choice.

Criminals, drugs, welfare recipients and disease are streaming across the border. So you think we should feel sorry for them. Ok, I do...now go back to Honduras, kill all the MS-13 gang members, kill the corrupt cops & politicians and clean up the country.

The woman in the CNN articles will be a huge expense to this country. And, of course, if we can't make judgments on who can/can't come her, then she gets in .... and so do the countless thousands just like her.

And arguing that we have insane foreign policy is somehow a justification for insane immigration policy is ..... well, insane. How about we not be destructive on either front?

I addressed the reality of today multiple times in my post. And the 'streaming' part of this post is a perfect example of part of the reality of today that I mentioned.

What I'm referring to with the references to the past is that the same anti-immigrant mentality was there back then and the country didn't collapse after they settled here and many of them and their ancestors are/were contributors to society and have made this society better - many of them shed their blood for this country. And many of their ancestors are criminals, drug dealers, and welfare recipients as well. People said basically the exact same thing you're saying about these immigrants about your ancestors. Maybe your ancestors should have gone back to Ireland and fixed their country. I guess technically you still have the option to fix that mistake and head back.

I don't think your 'murder everyone' to clean up the country plan works outside of movies or tv shows much anymore.

I'll start off by saying I haven't followed this specific story that closely.

But... A lot of immigrants throughout history have dearly loved the country they fled and many of them still carried the symbols from that land. The Irish and Italians say hi.

I love the automatic jump to Hannity. Classic. I haven't watched his show in years but thanks for the laugh. I want controlled immigration with skilled, educated folks who will contribute their skills to making this country better. Call me crazy.
