Yep, and I should've had more beer too. I'm too sober to watch this debacle. Chris Moller, I mean Ryan Beagle in to pitch

How do you guys look for next year? Are you going to lose a lot of players or do you have a bunch of young guys coming back?

Tider in Illinois, belated congratulations on your 2,000th post!

Thanks for keeping everyone updated this season. There are a lot of people out there who really appreciate it.

ReederTAMU,
We lose Hearod, Reed, Garner, Hecklinski, Redding, and Marshall to graduation. Pavkovich may leave if drafted high enough, but otherwise, the entire infield returns. We'll have a deep pitching staff, but will be in need of a replacement for Reed as the stopper, and there are some viable options for the job.

Pitching will be strong in '04, but the offense will be in search of a new leadoff man and we'll also be losing our most dangerous power hitter. Defensively, the infield should be improved with experience, but 2/3 of the outfield will have to be replaced, including centerfield.

If the draft doesn't do too much damage, we'll be in great shape, but even if we happen to lose a couple to the professional ranks, I'm still optimistic.

I'll go into much greater detail about this in a lengthier post here soon.
