Rouge, La., was the first commitment for the Tigers almost a year ago, along with teammate La'el Collins, five-star offensive tackle. Collins was scheduled to visit Tuscaloosa Saturday, but did not make the trip with Hill. Hill, 6-1 and 215 pounds, has traveled to Tuscaloosa several times.

Rewind: RB Isaiah Crowell could have Marcus Lattimore effect | AJC College Sports Recruiting
Afterward, Crowell headed over to Tuscaloosa to take in the Alabama-Penn State game on an unofficial visit. He was understandably impressed with the Tide’s 24-3 win over Penn state.

“I thought the game was amazing,” he told BamaOnline.com. “The crowd was so loud you couldn’t hear the person next to you. The defense looks like it is going to be real good again. I really kept my eye on Trent [Richardson] and how Alabama used him. What I liked about how Alabama uses Trent is that they get him the ball a lot of different ways. They used him in the Wildcat which I loved too. Coach [Nick] Saban has told me before that if I came to Alabama, I would be paired up with Trent next year and sharing the load.”

Next weekend Crowell will be in Athens for Arkansas-Georgia game.

“It is still Alabama and Georgia tied on top,” Crowell said of his favorites from more than 50 offers. “[But] it is really just week to week. I am still going to take my official visits and announce on [national] signing day.”

2012 K Adam Griffith visited Bama for the PSU game.

Top 2012 prospect checks out the Dawgs and Tide
Last Saturday's Alabama-Penn State contest was Griffith’s first chance to see a game in Tuscaloosa.

"It was so loud and crazy, I had never seen that many people in one place in all my life," he said. "I got there late so I was not able to speak with the coaches, but I still got to go on the field before the game and watch their kickers. I really liked it a lot.”

Meaning MI is leaving?
Mark Ingram is a junior, and is eligible to enter the NFL draft. He has a national title, SEC title, and a Heisman trophy. What more can he accomplish? There's not that much of a chance that he's coming back for a senior season, especially if he gets his junior season going strong, after having a injury scare. Barring a NFL holdout, which is likely, I don't see Mark Ingram returning in 2011. The coaches are having to prepare for that, and that's why Isaiah Crowell mentioned being "paired up with Trent" in 2011.
