How much HAVOC do you think Arenas will put on UGA this weekend?

I think he will give Stafford a little trouble this weekend

I would prefer M. Barron blitzing out of the Star instead of Arenas. Barron looked very good doing it last week, and Arenas is a little bit light to put a great lick on a QB. JMO and assuming that Arenas blitzing is what you are talking about. On the other hand, I think he will have a great day as a return man Saturday, just my gut feeling.

I agree with you I would like to see MB in on the blitz to shake up the QB. Arenas just has the speed and the hands for the pass D though. I would like to MB in the pass D to see how good he is all together also..

You don't want Arenas blitzing, you want him returning all of the forced throws intercepted for TDs. ;)

That's right. What would be nice to see is pressure on Stafford all day that it rattles him to throw it in Arenas' area and Arenas gets a pick six. Also it seems like when a good cornerback gets a taste of a pick, the next one gets easier for him.

I like Arenas blitzing actually, he's usually quick to the passer and he is a good hitter (though he hasn't actually hit a QB yet he has gotten a sack off of intentional grounding and some hurries).

But a big positive for us in this game is our DBs coverage skills. I expect Kareem to lock the freshman AJ Green down completely and Arenas to keep Massaquoi quiet.

How has Georgia's kickoff and punt coverage been thusfar this year?
Georgia is currently 25th in the nation in punt returns. Bama is ranked #33.

Georgia is currently #52 and Bama #85 in kickoff returns.

Punt return defense Georgia is #61 and Alabama #45

Kickoff return defense Georgia is #65 and Alabama is #84

Both teams could use some improvement here. These are national stats provided by NCAA STATS

I am a little worried about Arenas matching up with some of UGAs receivers, as they are pretty tall and athletic (not that Arenas isn't athletic, but he is not very tall). I think they will have a height advantage. However, if we can pressure Stafford, I think it won't come into play as much.
