Question: How much longer will Freeze be the head coach at Aubarn?

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

Won’t make it. The trip back to Lee county, if he heads that direction, after the Nashville visit will be his last in orange and blue. Durkin will be tagged interim and auditioning as the next Barn Buyout. Of course if motorcycle Bobby hangs 40+ on he and Durkin that might just be enough to escalate the schedule and Petrino take Hughes seat on the plain back.
That’s SUCH a Barn thing.
Yep. This would be an incredibly Auburn thing to do. They've coveted Petrino for years and he's more attainable now than ever before.

If they move on from Freeze, the names I'd watch for would be Petrino, Jimbo Fisher, and Durkin if he performs well enough if he's promoted to interim. After the Freeze and Harsin experiments, I don't think they'd bring in another "outsider" and will likely mandate that it's someone who has coached there before as an assistant. They might make runs at Rhett Lashlee and Kenny Dillingham as well.

They are in a pickle.

Terrible coaching. But they have some pretty good talent, outside of QB.

If they make a change, I wish we could push for a Cam Coleman transfer. He'd be a good one to replace GB next year. But I figure Yellowman will pay him to stay, regardless!

Ol’ Hugh lucks up and gets to come back next year where he wins 10 games and another couple of years (winning 6 & 5 games respectively) would be the most Auburn thing to happen in this situation.
