It's not quite 10AM as I write this. If Freeze isn't in a meeting with Cohen, he's punted the rest of the schedule and is preparing for us.
Im not opposed to it. Grubb would be a disaster at Auburn and i still think Deboer is the real genius. I think if it happened then he would either reinstate Sheridan or upgrade Shep. So we would be good
I could go for that... If he couldn't do anything at TAMU I don't see him being better at the Barn.
It would be an upgrade from Freeze, but then again, so would Doug Barfield (and he’s almost 90.)
If I was Auburn then I would go after someone like Golesh or Vandy’s coach. But they are going to go after a name….
But these leaks suggest a decision has been made it’s only a negotiation of dollars
OTOH... if they want to give Freeze a 10 year extension, I'd be good with that too.
Clark Lea is a VU alum and is well cared for on the West End. I can't see him leaving for any job...
Maybe but at some point he is going to get a chance to make a serious chance to win a ring and I just don’t see it at Vandy.
Lea is never going to be hotter than he is now; especially if he makes the CFP.

My point is never say never. I think he can constantly field very good teams at Vandy through the portal kinda how Corbin does in baseball but the chances of actually winning the SEC or seriously compete for a national championship like Corbin does is nil to none.
Someone is going to make a run at him and he is going to have to say no to some very lucrative offers to stay in Nashville. I guess it is possible that he stays in Nashville especially when guys like Campbell at ISU have turned down numerous opportunities. But I think it’s way too soon to tell
