Howdy and Good Luck this season!

Hey y'all, I'm an A&M graduate (class of 2010), and just wanted to introduce myself to y'all and wish y'all the best of luck in defending your back-to-back national titles. Bama was my favorite SEC team before my alma mater joined the conference (I was actually born on Maxwell Air Force Base), so I've followed y'all over the years and can't tell you how excited I am to be playing year in and year out now!

I'm currently stationed in Missouri with the military, so I'll be unable to attend the Bama/A&M game at Kyle Field in a few weeks (to my great dismay), but for those of you lucky enough to go, have a great time! Aggies are a little crazy, but pride ourselves on being hospitable. Wear your colors on Northgate (strip of bars just off campus) or around several tailgates and you will want for nothing in the food and drink department.

I have no idea how the Manziel drama will end, but it will be a fantastic atmosphere whether he plays or not. Looking forward to welcoming y'all to the Lone Star State!

I think you'll find that, by far, everyone is quite fair here. There is a good healthy respect for A&M as Bama has some solid connections starting with CPB. I'm still unclear how I really feel about your QB saga at this time, but what will be, will be. I hope Bama is able to extract some payback on 14 September, but again, what will be... I don't know what the right answer is in regarding that situation, but it has made for a very active thread. JFF has put himself and A&M in a very bad light for now. Good luck in getting that issue resolved. And good luck this season, except for 14 September.

I've been retired USAF for 10 years this month and still miss working with some of the best folks in the world. Hang around and stay civil and this can be a great board for intelligent information. Thanks for your service, RBTider! My dad was also USAF--retired about 8 years ago, so y'all definitely served in the same time period. My wife (also an Aggie, but not as big of a sports fan) and I are both USAF stationed at Whiteman AFB, MO. Still SEC Country, I guess, but only barely!
