HS Basketball Teammate To Give SOTU Response Tomorrow

First term Florida congressman Curt Clawson has been selected to give the Republican response to Obama's call for higher taxes, among other disasters.

I played HS basketball with him and spent a lot of time around him when we were in school. For the record, he was an excellent shooter, a high scorer but was a ball hog.

He was a Libertarian (good shooter), a Clinton clone (high scorer), and a Republican (greedy). He'd have to be good at stealing the ball and giving it to someone else (assist) to be a Democrat.

Could you and he beat Barack and the Choom Gang in a basket ball game? :smile: I averaged 2 points a minute in B team basketball. Played 3 minutes all season and scored 6 points on free throws. 40 points a game if the coach had recognized my vast potential and let me play the whole game.

All I'd have to do would be to throw it in to him. He'd dribble down the court and fire away just like 40 years ago.
