I hate the talking pop-ups

I love the University of Alabama, I love this message board (and read it religiously), but I absolutely hate the talking pop-ups. I am aware that advertisement is a necessary evil (and I welcome it), especially with free message boards, but when they constantly spout rude insults - that is a little much. Maybe I am the only person that this affects?

No, you're not. I hate 'em too. That's why I donate through amazon.com to TF. Hopefully if enough of us do that we can stop 'em altogether. Otherwise, I'd LOVE to see these "noisy" ads eliminated...

I just leave my PC muted unless I plan on listening to something...

I use Firefox and I dont experience the pop-ups.
