I've really enjoyed being a part of Tidefans the past 7 years. Love it. I guess that's where the idea popped up.

Let me preface this by saying it's an extremely slow Monday at work.

I think it would be neat if we could sell personalized TideFans.com shirts. That is, a crimson shirt (home games) with white lettering and the mascot/logo or whatever. On the back, have our usernames on the back and a number - as in your favorite player's number.

That way I could find bayoutider and throw Zima bottles at him and make fun of him for actually drinking that stuff. ;)

Maybe get all the non-sports board frequenters together and have a debate on evolution in the middle of the quad...

What do you all think?

edit: If any of you have posted this idea before, I apologize.

The backpacking website I participate had t-shirts printed up. They turned out really nice. On our group trips there's usually at least one or two folks wearing them. It's kinda neat, but realize that the rest of the population sees blahblahblah.com and thinks, "Internet axe murderer." Most of the folks on the hiking trips I go on refer to each other as our "Internet axe murderer friends."

Wow...

I don't think people would derive axe murderers from TideFans.com. Although, it would definitely be empowering becuase everyone would fear us. Plus, if the time came, I wouldn't use an axe. Messy... ;)

I usually get this reaction

Wrinkle up nose to look like Steve Spurrier while he spikes his visor for the 50th time during a game and then say, "You mean you've met people you know from the internet? Aren't you afraid they're weird?"

My reply, "Heck, they're not any weirder than me. They're meeting me from the internet as well."

"But, but, they could be an axe murderer or something."

"But for all they know, I'm the axe murderer."

You get the picture.
