I have no doubt that the barn yakked up a hairball today because they spent this week (and maybe last) preparing for us.

If so, they spent little to no time on NMS, lost as a result, and I don’t think they care.

So long as they beat us, today's embarrassing loss will be nothing more than an afterthought, if even that.

More likely, getting skull drug by New Mexico State is an indication of how much The Rev is putting into next week’s game.

While I admit to taking some joy in NMS drumming the barn, I also think it means only that they will be more prepared come Saturday.

We have the better team. That doesn’t mean it’ll be anything less than a war.

the NMSU game tells me Freeze put all of his efforts this week into Bama. It also feeds into the storyline that the SEC is down this year. More evidence to keep a one loss SEC champ out of the final 4. That said, it is sweet. I’m sure barners are spinning it that Saban lost to ULM his first year.

Folks, Hugh Freeze is a junior college baseball playing, high school girls basketball coaching, just so happened to have a first round NFL talent high school left tackle, Taco Bell Toughy piece of slime. He’s a Poor man’s Gus Moozahn.
The barn needs to remember the following:
Chizik won a National Championship in his 2nd year. Gus played for one in his FIRST year. They ended up firing both and paying them a crap load of $ to leave.

Yeah as much as everyone wants to talk about JHS auburn. They lost by 21 points to a 3 loss fcs team. That’s pretty bad.

Actually, NMSU is still in the FBS and is having a pretty solid year by Group of 5 standards. That said, so is JSU, who just so happens to play NMSU next week for 2nd place in CUSA behind an undefeated Liberty. If only JSU was eligible for post-season play (darn transition rules)!

None of that makes Auburn getting throttled by them any less hilarious.

I’ll be the first to admit that I gave the barn a little too much credit for their dismantling of Arkansas. Now having said that, we’re still going to get their best effort of the year in a week. And it’s about as obvious as a streaker at a tent revival that they’ve been prepping for us for more than a week now. I expect them to throw everything but the kitchen sink at us.

I just got off of FB. Auburn fans are crying bucket fulls over losing todays game.
I consoled a couple by telling them that at least Auburn has a good Band. (Kind of a low blow, but that's what I do to those folks)
