That's probably about right. Even the Jags have players who were all world at their positions in college. They are still great football players when compared to a college team.

All this article does is show the growing anti-Alabama feeling throughout the media and country.

Peyton Manning is putting up 44 ppg against NFL competition right now...the only thing that would stop him against us is the clock...
I think you're taking this a bit more seriously than I am.

You're right though, Peyton is unstoppable right now.

The Broncos would stomp a mudhole in our behinds. If A&M can score 42, the Broncos would probably score 63+ depending on turnovers.

Now our 2011 team probably could have gotten a couple stops and ONLY given up 40 or so :D

Out of all our Saban coached teams the 2011 crew would be the team I would want to step out on the field against the Broncos and Peyton. They would still pound us but that team had a lot of future NFL players on it and that defense was the best in the history of college football.

I didn't really see it as anti-Alabama. If anything it is a compliment to me that people even question whether Alabama could hang with a NFL team. Of course we wouldn't but its nice that people actually bring it up.

Well, to even the odds a bit the first play of the game I'd get the last string LB to ear hole Peyton and take a fifteen yard targeting, helmet to helmet, fist in the junk, elbow to the throat penalty. Hopefully that would put him on the bench. And while he was laying on the ground on top of him he'd whisper in his ear "That's for leading the band at BDS after y'alls win.". :biggrin2:

I just like how every time someone is talking about the NFL and CFB, Alabama's name just seems to find its way into the conversation. Thanks for the free advertisement guys. :)

all this article did was make Bama haters more hateful. Do I care, NO. I realize it was all in jest and fun, but at the end of the day is just clutter. just my 2 cents.

I would take Bama +40
Bama +40 would be a lock. In his two years coaching the Dolphins, Saban didn't ever lose by that much. And you can argue that those two Dolphins teams were less talented this Bama team. I'm a Dolphins fan...I know. I mean, he had the likes of Gus Frerotte, Sage Rosenfels, and Joey Harrington, Dante Culpepper (after he started to suck) as his starting QBs. AJ would be a huge upgrade over ANY of those.
