If you could choose an improvement for BDS

Thats a nice can of worms! Also, I have a can of worms that is related to your can. I have the sauce for your spaghetti TMac. My idea would be that everyone, students, frats, alumni, and everyone who steps foot inside BDS would stay until the clock strikes 00:00. Once your idea comes to fruition I think mine would be closer to reality as well.

More food choices at the concession stands. Florida, Hawaii and several other venues have great kiosk type stands with things like smoked turkey legs, crab cakes etc. Just more then a dog and nachos.

You're exactly right, it takes everyone doing their part. When we resume fielding REAL BAMA TEAMS, I think the rest will be there too. The BAMA fan base is really hungry for a return to the old days. We're all tired of being ordinary, it's been too long. :BigA:

I don't know about improvements, but I know, with this thread, the greatest games never played threads, etc, that we are using up all the offseason topics before the season is over!.... what are we gonna talk about in june?

In my opinion, we do a pitiful job of attaining a "home field advantage" during the course of a game. There are numerous examples I could cite but the one that sticks in my craw the most is when the game rolls into the fourth quarter. The university always seems to take that opportunity to announce an award, then proceed into a loud commercial break on the Jumbotron. Like I said, I have numerous examples to cite but this is the most glaring.

Other schools, like UF, have a tradition of singing "The Boys of Old Florida" while swaying back and forth.....then breaking into loud "Go Gators" cheers with the band at EVERY GAME. Many of you have seem them do this in our stadium as well as in the Championship Game.

I appreciate these rewards and the recognition of the hard work these guys do for our University but let's announce and recognize them before the game...or during halftime.

I agree, halftime for awards...

Lets sing Rammer Jammer at the start of the 4th....

or put up one of Coach's speeches..... Coach Bryant, Stallings, Saban, just alternate....... That should fire everybody up...

or show one of the past national title winners highlights......

or just have the team turn around and salute the fans......

Hmmmm, let's see:

1) bring back the band marching into the stadium and playing Yea Alabama to both sides of stadium

2) add field level bleachers in south endzone for students/Yell Crew

3) remove the chain link fence around the field and put up iron (like the barn's, but I've been saying we should do this for a long time)

4) bring back the 90's pregame show that actually got people excited and on their feet

5) put a monster-tron on top of the new addition

6) ribbon boards extended completely around stadium and used for more than advertising

7) get a better jumbo tron operator

Do whatever it takes to get a better halftime show. I actually kinda fall asleep during our halftime show (unfortunately), but I also have been spoiled with USC's halftime shows which are always awesome (even played a live halftime show with the funk band Tower of Power back in the day).

Without question play Rammer Jammer at the end of the game, no argument about that.

Change the fence/remove the fence surrounding the field. Looks a bit old/outdated.

I'm sure there some song that all Alabama fans can agree to sing at the start of the 4th quarter. Basketcase is cool but I'm kind of bored by that because I listen to that genre of music sometimes and it's only fun to hear sometimes.

I agree.Most college stadiums have bleacher seating.I really prefer the chairback seating of the NFL stadiums.
