I agree... It pained me to see all the injuries they suffered against UTMay not like UGA, but hate to see that happen to those players.
I think the cleat grabbed the ground when he got hit in the hip, so his knee popped to the left, which it isn't designed to do.hate it for the players.
the Marshall hit did not look bad when it happened. it looked harmless. could it be possible he tore it before he was tackled?
Yep - I thought that it might have been the hip because of the angle, but it turned out to be the knee.I think the cleat grabbed the ground when he got hit in the hip, so his knee popped to the left, which it isn't designed to do.
This is the double edged sword to the new rules.Marshall finished the season with 56 carries for 246 yards and one TD, but he was off to a big start against Tennessee before a low (clean) hit by Vols’ DB Cam Sutton
I hate it for these young men. They work hard all year long & then "wham" .... one play can cause a season ending injury. Hated to see the tears streaming down Marshall's face yesterday. His Dad was right there with him trying his best to console him.![]()
Exactly - The new targeting rule is going create a lot more knee, ankle, and lower leg injuries. This is the double edged sword to the new rules.
