Never want to see a player injured, this leaves texas with only three scholarship RBs...

Texas suffered its second season-ending injury at running back Monday when true freshman Christian Clark tore his Achilles tendon in practice, the school announced Tuesday.

Texas said Clark will have surgery and will miss the remainder of the year, six days after announcing CJ Baxter, last year's opening-game starter, will undergo season-ending knee surgery.

The losses leave the Longhorns with three scholarship running backs.

I hate to see injury news and notes. Alabama has had a rough go with injuries recently with the RB’s a couple of years ago and all the backers a little further back that forced the two freshman to start.

I remember 2021 when McClellan and Williams went out during the season, Camar Wheaton tore his meniscus in camp, and Trey Sanders was still recovering. It was Brian Robinson's alone, which was scary in the event something happened to him. Going into the season there was a thought that we had a major logjam at RB.

Perfect example of starting the year loaded, and limping at the end. Brian Robinson was a warrior that year. But that lack of diversity in the run game hurt us against Ga in the NC game. Not to mention Metchie being out and Williams going down during the game.

Nice try Bazza, but none of us are going to pay to read a Gatah site. :)

Besides, you probably started those anyway. I'd expect nothing less from you, my man.
Oops...sorry. We have 2 football forums - one free and one for pay

I haven't posted there in a while, but will be posting the weekly TV games schedule and game threads on the free site.

I already posted the Week 0 games schedule back on Aug. 1:

Anyway.

Didn't mean any disrespect to my man @CoolBreeze - but had to speak up that once in a while over at our forum we actually do have some decent threads and posts. :)
