Dareus Interview

"At Alabama, we stop the run first and then we defend the pass," Dareus said. "I live for 4th-and-inches, I live for it." - Marcell Dareus

This news isn't groundbreaking, but this let's us into our defensive guru's mind.

If MD can play to his full potential, I have no doubt whatsoever that he will be a rich and properous man in the NFL for a long time.

btw, the last Bama player to play with the Bills that did alright for himself (4 Super Bowl appearances) and was one of the anchors on those great Bills defenses was none other than Cornelius Bennett aka "Biscuit". :BigA:

After being drafted by Buffalo Cornelius was asked something to the effect, Would you have rather been drafted to a team in a warm weather climate to which Cornelius replied something to the effect of , Nah as much money as they are paying me I can buy a fur coat.

That is a stark contrast to sCam and Fairley's interviews. You know that kind of thing helped him solidify his high draft pick, and it will help him grow with his team and coaches. Most rookies coming in with the attitude sCam does ends up falling flat on their face. Marcell's character and intangibles will serve him well because there's no doubt he has the measurables and talent.

Let me add one thing that praises Marcell's character. In his first meeting with the Bills aging owner Ralph Wilson, there is video that shows him going over and helping the old man get out of his seat as they met. Now that's a gentleman.
