"The reason I am here is because ... even though the facade has changed in Washington DC, the policies are still the same,"
Even though I am not anti war like she is, I did argue at the end of the Bush admin that these wars in the Middle East were growing weary and not really accomplishing everything that we initially set out to do. On the surface, this does not seem to be political for her. She did not change her tune when the POTUS changed. She is wise in identifying that it is the system that stays the same and I think this could be said about an array issues in Washington. Obama did not bring about the change that Americans were looking for. The change he brought had the opposite effect. He put the system on steroids and increased the amount of fuel needed to feed the "system".
Will Sheehan eventually be labeled by the dems and the media as part of the "mob" that consist of many other Americans that are speaking out on other issues? Will her agenda be downplayed this time around or even be considered "unpatriotic" by the media and the left? I think that we do have small groups on the frindges that really hate Bush and really hate Obama but the majority of this country is beginning to see the light, focusing on the issues and realizing that our government is taking this country in the wrong direction...fast. As this movement continues to grow, Obama and the media may just be proved phophetic. We might just have a mob on our hands.
Agree with her protesting agenda or not, one has to give her props for sticking to it and not just being the typical, hypocritical Bush hater like most on the left."We have to realize, it is not the president who is power, it is not the party that is in power it is the system that stays the same, no matter who is in charge."
