Is it the coaching?

Something happened at halftime; because this team went into the tank after the break.

Whether deserved or not, when a team plays this badly it all falls on the coaching staff.

And again like last season, this team seems to be REgressing rather than PROgressing during the course of the season.

i just know that i want to go out and get some of what shula and his staff are smoking. i thought our defense played pretty well until they started getting tired, and then they still came up with two more turnovers. at some point in a bad situation, the players need someone (i.e. the coaching staff) to tell and show them what to do. shula just stood there on the sidelines. holtz, with a 17 point lead was all up in his offense's faces after that last fumble. i have been a big fan of shula's, but he did not show any leadership in this game. i hope that this is just an isolated incident, but this second half was as bad as anything i witnessed last year.

Very good point. I was embarrased for Shula at this point. It showed the complete contrast in a seasoned pro and a someone over his head.
