I started liking him last year when he said nice things about Bama after they beat us and then this year he continues to say nice things about other teams. I like him and think that he is a nice person but saying that Roll Tide Baby, I hope we beat the h>>> out of LSU. I just wish he would coach a team I like.

He's certainly a colorful character.

Listening to him is sort of like watching a NASCAR race as you keep waiting for the inevitable 20 car pile up.

So Les is a little goofy. So what? The guy isn't getting paid to be the school's or anyone elses 'straight-man'. He is getting paid to coach football and from what I see, he's doing an exemplary job. I'll take that over some somber-faced, idiotic pretender of a coach every day.

He is a very good coach. He is more of a players coach. The results speak for themselves. He has done very well at LSU. Still I am very grateful we have coach Saban. Roll Tide!

He voted us #2. I like that alot. I have nothing against him, he is the coach of the other guys in the big game and therefore he is good at his job.

I think there's been close to a general consensus here for the past season & a half that Les is good...no... Great for the SEC. Quirky personality but he manages to get it done. Would we want him as a coach at Alabama? No. We're not that progressive. But we like watching him from afar

Sure I like Les. He has a different style than CNS, but we all have different personalities and his players and fans obviously love him. As someone said his results speak for themselves, he is a formidable opponent. Win or lose January 9th won't change my opinion of Coach Miles.

I like him, always interesting to see what he says. I agree tha he his a colorful character, but that is what makes him a great coach.

Hard to actually dislike him. He's a very positive guy.

I still think he missed his calling though, he should have played Chong in the old Cheech and Chong movies :)

I like him. I also think he gave the poll voters permission to go for a rematch when after beating us in OT, he said "It would be an honor to play that team again."

He is a character....not sure about his control of the program in the long term. I am starting to see glimmers of Miami Football showing up in his players. Class in a program is challenging, but he seems to encourage thuggy behavior in his players...

His psychological approach is one based on getting the other team angry. Ours is about getting the other team scared. I think we will be angry.....I think they might be scared......

Will Rogers once said I never met a man I did not like. Before I say I don't like him, it would be nice to meet him. Quirky? Yes. Seems to love his family.

I didn't like him initially when he was going through his Nick-envy stage. But now that he feels accepted by the LSU fans, he's settled in and I like hime better. Most of all, I like listening to his interviews.

Coach Miles got off to a great start but had had a dip in his 4th and 5th years, losing 9 games. Surprisingly, he recovered from that to and has lost only 2 games the past two seasons. This success in his 6th and 7th year is very impressive as many coaches lately have had initial success and then tapered off. I believe it has a lot to do with him being a good coach, Saban showing the program that it can be done, and the best recruiting situation in the SEC. Louisiana is a huge state to just have 1 team in a BCS conference and they can pretty much pick who they want every year. If Alabama could choose any player in the State and let the UAB's have the rest, recruiting would not be very hard.

Les has never had a season without at least 2 losses until this season. Here is his record as compared to Coach Saban. I still believe to the core that last year's Bama team would have made a BCS Bowl if we hadn't had the schedule of 6 SEC teams coming off of a bye week playing us coupled with our late in the season bye week.

Coach Saban inherited a mess, Miles a dream. I hope that Coach Saban is here for years 6-10.

The last 4 season's, including this, LSU has lost 11 games to Bama's 6. LSU has been to 1 BCS game(this year), to Bama's 3.
