It's hard to beat the vols!

Yeah but they've got a dang good freshman qb and their running game is pretty good.

Georgia is also helping the Vols by dropping all those passes.
Yea Ainge does look good. Nevermind the subject title the refs just plain out stink all the way around.

The refs are ALWAYS for UcheatUT!!!!!!!

Yes, it is true. The refs are always for UT. How come it is they always get the good calls? They never get very many penalties called on them and fatty Phil! Don't you think coaches ought to be in shape just as the players are? ROLL TIDE!!!!!!! We will be back!

Oh come on, people. How can you possibly say the refs were for the Vols on this one? Youve got your anti-orange glasses on so tight you cant see anything else. Often I agree with you on things with the Vols, but in this case your just down right wrong. They got a bad call on their "fumble" when he was cleary down, and near the end of the game when they were trying to make a winning drive, the refs were overlooking Georgia holding on about every other play. Then when Georgia is desperately trying to drive down the field with no time outs, the refs stop the clock to "measure for a first down" when it was absolutely obvious it was a yard short! Tennessee won this game fair and square. Did Georgia look flat? Of coarse! And Tennessee came ready to win and did it.

It's more of a trend thing.

It happens EVERY week. It's not like it just started this week. Not one time has UT had more penalties called on them than on their opponent this year. As a matter of fact, here are the numbers over five games. UT has been charged with 26 penalties this year for 227 yards, while their opponents have been charged with 47 penalties for 352 yards. UT's opponents are being penalized more than UT by a rate of almost 2 to 1. The funny thing is that the penalties always seem to come when UT needs them to keep a drive alive.

Spoken like a true Vol! I guess the orange tends to leak when one is so close.

I, for one, say we follow Auburn's model for success against the Fighting Krispy Kremers.

You'd think with all that bright orange they have on their infractions would be hard for the refs to miss. At least their unis make it easy on the cops though. When they get booked, it's like they come pre-jumpsuited. :p

TNBama-You cannot express an opinion on here that smacks of logic if it is anything other than anti-vol. If you live in Tennessee you get called a Vol fan or worse, if there could be worse digs.

UGA lost that game yesterday because their o-line couldn't keep David Green protected long enough and he can't move any faster that Phat Phil. But all you've heard on here is that the refs made bad calls.

It was a good football game and the better team on this particular Saturday won.

Its amazing how just because someone is willing to not jump on the band wagon and stand up for the truth when it comes to a hated rival, that people think you are a traitor. Im born and raised Crimson, and will be to my dieing day. Ive had some rather fights with my wife due to my devotion to the Tide. But I refuse to allow that to blind me to the truth when it comes to other programs. Bama fans, especially on this board, will refuse to see ANYTHING that does not conform to their pre-conceived images of what has or will happen in a negative light to the Vols. I would rather be able to see clearly, even against a hated rival. But go ahead and be a band wagon fan, I dont mind if you can only follow and not think for yourself.

i am a resident in tennessee, and i hate the vols more than any team that exists. and not only that i live in the town of winchester, home of the coach i dislike most fulmer. i actually have to drive by his moms house weekly, i dont know much about the ga game, i only watch a little, i was switching allover the place with gameplan, usc vs cal a great game, i will tell you one thing though, often as not tenn will get the calls. they always have and always will. they stole the game against florida, and there will be more. nothing sticks to the vols, and that is why they are called teflon univ even by the media here in tenn. they do have a good team, and i am so glad destroyed them on national tv. they now have the clear shot for theast with fla, usc, and beating ga. they will have to meet auburn again.

Seeing it in person I can say...

Richt & Co. just got out-coached. The players were out-played. Reggie whatever-his-name-is was wide open the entire game. Nobody in the UT secondary could keep up with him. Yet, they had no plan to get him the ball until the end. UGA was trying to do this left to right short passing crap. Throw the ball down field...over the middle...over the top...SOMETHING! It's the worst friggin secondary in the SEC and you aren't gonna try to throw the ball down field. Then, the last play of the game, Greene tries to hit Invisible Bob in the endzone for the game-winning TD. Of course, he dropped it...

Refs or no refs. UGA flat out got beat. And I'm glad they got beat cause they sure as hell deserved it.

I didn't see the whole game; but, what I did see was poor clock management by Georgia and UT's DL putting their hands in the air on every pass play and either tipping or misdirecting just about every Greene pass.

To me, at the end, this is what cost Georgia the game.

I only got to see most of the first half so I know not of the supposed bad calls that everyone is talking about. Some on the board have said the CBS crew were even talking about the calls on the broadcsat which usually means that there were indeed bad calls made, but once again I don't know. I will say that it would not surprise me, it has become apparent that there has been something going on for a long time. The calls do seem to go their way, they do seem to slip out of trouble even when their players admit they did things like take money from boosters, they don't seem to get in trouble legally speaking when a coach who has a personal interest in a case involving rape charges has a sit down meeting with the people making the accusations, and yes it turns my stomach. Its not just that some of this has directly resulted in bad fortune for Alabama its that supposedly no man is above the law, well in this case apparently one man and one school are, its that someone getting away with things that aren't legal is more disgusting the getting away with things that aren't moral. As someone else pointed out even their own fans call UT Teflon U, I guess it never occured to their moron fans thats basically admitting that UT are cheaters but get away with it, however their fans are proud of that moniker and will gladly tell you that their Teflon U. If Alabama had that kind of moniker (which is downright laughable because we get nailed for things we quite possibly didn't do) the last thing I'd be is proud of, come on proud of being cheaters and everyone knowing that you are and get away with it, I'd rather not be cheaters at all.

Nothing New...........!!!

That was a stupid comment and a cheap shot. You should be ashamed.

If people hate the vols so much, why is there a new topic about them nearly everyday?
