Me to. I thought he was destined to be a tight end, if anything. But the SECCG a couple of years ago, and then playing well for the Sooners, made me think he had a shot at QB. Hope he does great things. He always was a classy guy.

So happy for Jalen, who has improved quite a bit as a passer. I will admit, a couple of yrs ago I would never have thought he would be starting an NFL game at QB. Good work!
I'm in that club...he did revert to form a couple of times Monday night when he made a quick read and then took off running to his right. We know that play. I will say that he is much more dangerous out of the pocket than in the pocket. He did throw an int late to stop their drive to win the game.

Congratulations to Jalen and I wish him the best of luck. He's a class act of a human being. Football wise, it will be interesting to see how he reacts once teams get game tape on him and start making adjustments. That was his weakness while at Bama. Once the defense made adjustments, he failed to make any. Hopefully Pederson and his QB experience has helped Jalen on this aspect of his game. Good luck to him!

Yep..but that player made a very good play. Kinda baited Jalen. The throw looked like it was perfect. I think he might not have seen him.

That makes Jalen the 4th QB in the Saban era to start in the NFL.

Greg McElroy started a game

AJ McCarron has started some games and would've beaten the Steelers in the Playoffs some years back if Vontaze Burfict didn't do what he did

Tua is 4-1 as the starter for the Dolphins

Jalen is now starting for the Eagles and surely can't play any worse than Carson Wentz

And soon, we'll add Mac Jones to the list. Now, You know Bama will sell the fact that they put three QBs in NFL and are starting to class of 2022 folks.

I can't believe there isn't a thread going on this yet. Congrats Jalen! So we've gone from zero Bama QBs starting in the NFL to two in only a month.
Jalen can throw that ball. I dont see him 'muscling up' to sling it downfield as he once did. He is trusting his arm now. I saw him throw 2 really nice back shoulder outs. Ball came on with power. If he gets some breaks..stays healthy...locker room supports him? The youngun can fly. Go get em Jalen! But I like the Wentz kid too. He came from a good program, so I wish him success too. Both cant play, and Jalen is the juice that team needs right now.

Wentz is done - never was the franchise QB his fat contract made him out to be, and the Iggles’ front office is about to implode from the ramifications of that contract. What with all the injuries, thinness in the ranks of skill pos. players and on the OL, the QB job should be Jalen’s to lose this year and if Pederson is retained, going forward as well -
