Jameis Winston investigated for sexual assault - and...no charges to be filed...

Radio said this morning (local station that broadcasts Bama games) that it was "covered up" (to some extent) when it first came out 10 months ago, and it was only "reopened" when media found out. Don't know the veracity, and just because I heard it on the radio doesn't make it gospel, so I will wait and see.

I wonder if his father turned up the TV when the cops came to question him.

It's amazing how long FSU was able to keep this swept under the rug as long as they did..I don't like it at all..If he did the crime, he should have been dealt with then & there, you don't let any guy stay in the public, after assaulting a women, what if he does it to another Lady will he's free to do it, being a dad to two baby girls, it actually makes me mad this got swept under the rug..I love college football as much as anyone does, but, this kind stuff should never be swept under the rug & put another Lady at risk, just to allow him to play college football..

If the Lady made this up & Jameis is innocent, I hope she gets put into jail, cause she could ruin Jameis & cost him millions of dollars with false allegations..She should do a lot of time if this is a false allegation..JMO

She give a description of the perpetrator, I don't think she accused anyone by name.

I read the police had already been investigating Winston in relation to this since February. It crossed my mind that maybe the victim recognized Winston now that his face is plastered everywhere but that kind of conflicts with the whole February thing.

I haven't kept up with this in the news or haven't read this entire thread to be honest..If she didn't name Jameis as the one who assaulted her..How did his name come up & accused of the crime???...

My favorite crime solvers were the gang on Cold Case. Someone walks in asking about a 20 year old murder. In one day they are able to track down the dead person's family, former employers and witnesses who all remember every minute detail about the case.

HAHA..That is one of my all time favorite crime TV show, it was awesome, and I always kinda liked the blondie detective Lady(I can;t remember her name), I wish they hadn't cancelled that show & would make some new ones..I still watch the reruns when they come on..LOL

As a retired Police Detective Lt. my advice to an innocent man, would be to NEVER give a statement to Law Enforcement Officers without your Lawyer being present. (Just my opinion)

One of a Lawyers functions is to protect your best interest. Thats why you pay them...
An Attorney can keep you out of trouble.
Think of the old phrase... NO COMMENT! (Usually at the advice of your Attorney)

Bones is the best, they spend 35 minutes of a 42 minute episode whining about their office "affairs" and then at the end they solve the crime with computer technology that doesn't exist.

Luther from over the pond is a pretty good crime drama. It's absurd but not entirely ridiculous.
