FSU should take the high road and suspend him pending the outcome of an investigation. They will likely win their next few games without him. This leaves an impression from everyone outside of Tallahassee that FSU has no moral standards and will do anything to win on the football field. (sound familiar) It would be better for Jameis because if this isn't true he will be exonerated and I guarantee the authorites and FSU will announce it to the world as soon as he is cleared. He will been seen as the victim in this whole scenario rather than the villain if he were to miss any games.
It seems pretty clear the Tallahassee police and FSU cops screwed this up. They essentially encouraged what may or may not be a rape victim not to pursue the case. On top of that they never collected DNA or interviewed the suspect which in and of itself is fishy. It also appears she reported it only an hour after the incident happened and identified JW as the culprit so this is looking more and more serious.[/QUOTE]
From the way I read it, she didn't ID JW until sometime in January.
I just hate this....hate it for the victim, and hate it for JW.
If Jameis is truly innocent I too have sympathy for him, but, if he did this crime, I hope he goes to jail for awhile & thinks about what he did..If he's innocent then she should be ashamed of herself for pointing a finger at the wrong guy..I have a question for y'all, when someone accuses someone of a crime & it turns out to be a false accusation, and that persons life is turned upside down from those bogus charges..Can the accuser go to jail for false accusations & for the damage it's done to the person they accused falsely????
