I agree. I'm very happy that we got Demetrius. He'll contribute much sooner than Bennett ever would have. Even if it's only in practice.

A lot of people were saying all year long that the reason why he wasn't pulling the trigger was that he was witing to see if Huggins got a job somewhere. Like everybody else has said I don't think he would have been good enough to have contributed until a few years in. With the short numbers we had this year we really need guys that come in and at least push the players who are in the rotation. Have fun in Manhattan its an awesome town with a serious basketball tradition. Maybe he'll be the first Huggins player to ever get a diploma.

No biggie in my opinion. I've said before I think it'll take at least a couple of years before he's able to contribute significantly.
