Who cares? He's not all that he's cracked up to be! We've all seen that his brothers weren't that good either, so he can go anywhere he wants!

It's a safe statement to say Weiss and Spurrier can develop QB's.

Hmmm, wonder how he managed to fool Charlie Weis enough that Weis passed on Mustain on the chance that he could sign him? Read the article, the kid has some awesome stats.

I've seen video of the kid and it looks like he can play. As some else as already pointed out, I like Weiss' ability to develop QBs.

I guess Phat Phil is crying right now.

Geez, don't shoot the messenger. All I was doing was posting some info that a lot of people might find relevant. You can say what you want about him not being any good, but there are plenty of people out there who'll disagree with you. Plus you don't get offers from nearly every major division one school in the country before your senior season if you're not "any good."

Why go to ND where he sits behind Quinn for Year 1 and then maybe 2 QB's whom ND signed last year...two 4-Star QB's
Well if the hype is true, this kid is supposed to be the "real deal", I don't think he'll be sitting behind anyone after Quinn leaves. I'm pretty sure Weiss is telling him he can redshirt his first year while he learns the system, then take over for Quinn once he graduates.

On a note filled with levity:

I heard a Ut fan last night say that the Clausen's wouldn't let Jimmy sign with an SEC team because they didn't want him playing against the Vols since they had done so much for Jimmy's brothers. I didn't say a thing back to the guy...partly because he calls himself George Dickel, but wanted so badly to remind him of how Casey was treated.

Quinn graduates and exhausts his eligibility in January 2007.

Clausen III enrolls and begins his eligibility in Janaury 2007.

What QB wouldn't want to go to Notre Dame. With Weis there, you know he is an expert at developing QB's for the next level. Also, you know that in Weis's system, any QB is going to put up gaudy stats.

We all know that any Notre Dame QB who is halfway decent is automatically in the Heisman race. Also, any ND QB is going to be a top draft pick while Weis is there.

Now that's pretty funny, I doubt Pickle III even seriously considered UcheaT.
