I was just on Oklahoma's rivals page and there is a picture of B.J. on the front and said another 5 star committed to and SEC powerhouse is visiting OU this weekend? RTO or CS do you guys have any info on this? Maybe he's just going up there to keep an eye on Julio, but it is an interesting turn of events to be sure.

Scout.com says he has Miami this week, but that may change.
I figure, at best, it is a situation like his visit to Auburn. I'm not trying to be the Homer fan here, but that kid really does seem like he bleeds crimson.

secondly.. hmmm what a coincidence that BJ and JJ both visit UF on the same weekend then BJ changes plans and will go with JJ to OU the following week...

Can't remember who it was, but someone said in another thread how one of Saban's key recruiting tools was getting big name guys (like BJ Scott) who were solid with us to go on visits with other big time prospects (like JJ) to stay in their ear. I hope BJ is going to OU with Julio, and keeps telling him Roll Tide!

The more i hear the more i feel Scott is going to be something special for us the next four years on and off the field! Players are a important part of the recruiting process also and if they believe the others will too. This class brings in more than just stars it brings in a whole new attitude! RTR

Vigor coach Kerry Stephenson thinks BJ and Julio will wind up playing together. He said it was just his opinion,

Scott said he is unsure if he is going to visit OK. He said he should know by Friday if he will go, he sounds really doubtful. No matter where he visits he is very solid to Alabama. Do not worry about him.

The latest word is that Robert Lester will go to OU along with Julio Jones. Both are officially visiting OU this weekend. B.J. Scott is still deciding if he will also visit OU. He said he will know whether or not he is going to go with JJ and RL by Friday.

Coach Kerry Stevenson of Vigor HS announced that Burton Scott will be taking an official to OU along with Julio Jones and Robert Lester this weekend. Coach Stevenson said that Julio and B.J. have gotten real close and Scott called OU and asked if he could take an official to OU along with JJ. Of course OU said yes and sent some of their coaches to visit him. CKS said that he thinks that Scott will sign with Bama.

Am I missing something here? Why the gloom and doom? This seems to be classic Saban recruiting at its best. Surround Julio with positive BAMA influence during his entire visit. Seems more than coincidental that Scott and Lester are now going with Julio to OK!:smile:
