Julio Jones Video!!!

Thanks for clearing that up rolltide8755, It just goes to show what kind of an athlete he is. Tider@UNA I'd still like to know where you got he ran a 4.6 from? Perhaps you could post a link or something?

Byrd was being looked at by Mississippi State. Academics was his unfortunate downfall. He ended up signing with Jones Junior College out of Ellisville, MS.

That guy definately has the size, hands, and speed to be an instant impact at the next level. I sure hope that we have the upper hand in signing him.

Trust me...he played good competition...he had an amazing game against Daphne for Foley last year as well.

Julio is the reason that my Foley Lions will be crowned state champions in 2007...that's right...you heard it here first! Go Foe-Town!

I'm still looking for it, they showed a graph on Sportscenter one afternoon after the combines showing that he had run a 4.6 and comparing it to Jerry Rice saying fans shouldn't be concerned about a 4.6 because the greatest WR of all time ran one the same time.

I dont know what combine that would have been though. He ran only one forty at the combine and it was a 4.35 I believe. I thought he has always been considered at least a 4.4 guy at worst.

We sure do . I wish I had the photo to post that was around a few months back . JJ skied about 3' over double coverage to snag one . I believe it was from one of last years camps/combines .

Doesn't one of our fellow TideFans members know him to some extent ?:p_ask:

There was an LSU (purple and gold) beach ball type of ball in his yard the other day, I said man thats a great ploy keep it out there till signing day then bust out the hat. He laughed, but it was just his kid cousin who lives next door.

I can't wait for this senior year, he can't either he was unhappy about the loss to Prattville. The best thing about Julio is , he's got all the talent without the big head.

I remember seeing that picture posted last year and was appalled by his athletic ablility. I did not realize that was him in the picture till just now. We sure need to sign him this year.

Okay, I am going to do my best to avoid hyperbole here.....that is, without question, the BEST JUNIOR wider receiver I have EVER seen in the state of Alabama!!!!!!!!!!!

He has absolutely everything- size, speed, power, hands, moves, quickness, explosiveness and vision.

WOW!!!!!

His lower body's explosive ability is insane...

Aside from the athleticism, size, and moves, he just has a general tendency to make everything look easy...we've gotta have him.

His strength makes him a YAC monster. Very impressive.

Also, for an earlier post in this thread, I'm not a big RHCP fan, but it's a welcome change from the constant POD and Rage Against the Machine background music. With all the people uploading YouTube videos, it's only a matter of time until somebody posts a video of their trip to a Rage concert. . . set to POD. :rolleyes:
