Why was it shown on espnu? Because Michigan State gave them a good game, and won. Yes, Michigan State. The Spartans. And Michigan was undefeated before the game (5-0) Why was MSU so good? Because Nick Saban was the MSU coach! MSU played solid, balanced, ball-control offense (36 passes, 35 runs), took advantage of a big wide receiver (Plaxico Burress, 250+ yards) and beat Tom Brady and Michigan. And Michigan State won with a medioce QB (Bill Burke). MSU won 10 games that year and beat Florida in the citrus bowl. Imagine what he will do at BAMA with the crop of talent he is now recruiting!

Wow, I guess it's safe to say that CNS has Tom Brady's number. He beat him also with the Miami Dolphins using a mediocre QB in Joey Harrington.. in case you did not hear it... JOEY HARRINGTON..!!!!

Keep in mind that that MSU defense had at least five NFL players on it, including a couple All-Pro level players.

Julian Peterson, Robaire Smith, Boo Boo Thompson, Plaxico Burress, there was just a lot of talent on that squad.
