Kerry supporters really need to read this

"prisoners of war being held by Hanoi. Here's what some of them endured because of you, John:

Capt. James Warner had already spent four years in Vietnamese custody when he was handed a copy of your testimony by his captors. Warner says that for his captors, your statements "were proof I deserved to be punished." He wasn't released until March 14, 1973.

Maj. Kenneth Cordier, an Air Force pilot who was in Vietnamese custody for 2,284 days, says his captors "repeated incessantly" your one-liner about being "the last man to die" for a lost cause. Cordier was released March 4, 1973.

Navy Lt. Paul Galanti says your accusations "were as demoralizing as solitary (confinement) ... and a prime reason the war dragged on." He remained in North Vietnamese hands until February 12, 1973.

John, did you think they would forget? "

Short exerpt....you really need to read the whole thing.

Why...

Why are you and others bringing up details about a war that ended some 30+ years ago, when we have one going on right now that should be addressed.

Dear BooBoo:

Now hear this...now hear this...because Kerry has made his "great" military service THE ISSUE of his campaign - THAT'S WHY!!! And he's made it THE ISSUE because he doesn't dare speak of his non-record in the Senate for the past 20 years. Wise up BooBoo. Read up BooBoo.

And because some of the veterans of Vietnam are still suffering because of what happened in that war, because of people like John "the hero" Kerry (cough...cough...cough) and Jane Fonda aka Hanoi Jane.

BTW, where were YOU during the Vietnam War - not born yet????

Because a certain dangerous, flaming, liberal from Massachusetts seems to think that his Vietnam service makes him eminently qualified to be President of the United States. He made that his only qualification so that's what people talk about.

When you toss your hat in the ring, you better make sure there's no dogsh*t on it.

Sometimes the truth needs to be told and Kerry told the truth. Its unfortunate that it was used against POWs but it still needed to be told.

Bamaro.....point one, who says it was the truth ? I know many who say that his statements were downright lies.....even Kerry says he may have embelished a bit.

point two, who did it benefit ? were we not at war ?
If you dont think it was true you need to study your history. It has been very well documented over & over that these things happened.
Point two, it could have benefited the 12,000+ that died needlessly afterwards in a war that we already gave up winning.

and Kerry told the truth
Wrong. You think Kerry told the truth. Even Kerry admits he may have exaggerated some things, and at other times passed on not what he saw, but things he had only heard were happening.

My father was in Vietnam, and he knows Kerry is wrong. I choose to believe my father over Kerry any day.

sKerry's stupid decision to make his war record a big issue came about simply because of his glaring weakness in supporting the military as a Senator. He and his advisors obviously thought that his combat record vs. the president's Nat'l Guard record would be a big plus for the Democrats. So to appear strongly pro-military, the idiot harped on his medals and the claim that he was a military supporter. He knows his voting record won't reflect the same.

This garbage about the "truth needed to be told" is nothing more than a cop-out by liberals who have been caught unprepared for the backlash over sKerry's ties with Hanoi Jane, and throwing his medals away. He thought getting a few vets to uphold his accounts of bravery would be enough to deter those attacking him. Didn't work!! Most Vietnam vets portray him as a traitor and a liar. Throw in his voting record as a Senator, and the military today sees him as non-supportive in the least.

He brought it up, and now it'***** him square in the face! His advisors must have been crazy. To me it the whole issue was an act of desperation to falsely portray him for something he isn't.....a concerned supporter of America's fighting men. Democrats are weak on national defense. After 9/11, the economy took second place. Americans want to feel safe, and it's more and more obvious to swing-voters that Kerry doesn't fit the bill. The speeches at the RNC buried him! Whoever heard of a keynote speaker being a member from the other party? Miller must have a pair the size of globes! His remarks about sKerrys votes against defense legislation going all the way back to Reagan were impressive. On Fox tonight he recounted 38 "no" votes by sKerry on military programs!! How safe does that make you feel?

Throw in sKerry's idiotic remarks about putting US servicmen and women under the command of some UN general doesn't help his situation at all.

he's stupid, and wreaks of demagoguery!

NBF: great line at the end of your post, but chicken**** would have been better! LMAO!

These SILLY dems want to credit sKerry on his record only when it helps them! But pass it off as crazy when it hurts him. Hear me now.....John Kerry is a sellout! My uncle was in a Vietnam prison camp. They played his testamony loud and clear for all of the American POW's to hear! He is a traitor and HE deserves to be spat upon!

Just when I think.....

you shrubs have said the dumbest thing possible, you open your mouths and start talking again. Let's get straight on the record of who served and who didn't. Kerry served. Bush and Cheny didn't. Your arguments are pathetic. Kerry told the truth about atrocities. They happend. They happen in war. No excuse for that. He was absolutely right. Why should he be put down for telling the truth. It's obviously something Bush and Cheny are completely incapable of doing. One night Bush tells the cameras, "The war on terror is un-winnable". He turns around the very next day and tells the voters "we're winning the war on terror". The day after that he hums and haws and said he really meant somthing else. What he meant to say is what his minions want to hear. OOPS! The man deserves no respect whatsoever. Would you want a wishy washy draft dodger coaching your football team. Heck no. Sure as hell don't want that moron running my country. MY COUNTRY!

So you mean to tell me you didn't vote for Bill Clinton ? ....
Oh yeah... Kerry did all he could to get out of Vietnam as fast as he could, ie applying for those bogus medals, which is the same thing as draft dodging.... then he lied and made accusations about the very same guys he went to Vietnam with..... John Kerry is a coward and a liar and I challenge anyone to prove me wrong.

p.s. If Kerry told the truth , then he is guilty of war crimes and should be punished.......correct ?
