I saw the End Zone camera angle once on the last block and I believe the ball was heading to the left. Doesn't matter, and how about GD saying early in the game their kicker kicks low, even a blind squirrel finds a nut.

It sounded a lot like the blocked kick in the 1990 Penn State game in Happy Valley.

Sorry to be picky but it was 1989 and kept us undefeated with a 17-16 win. One of my favorite all time wins. I was a 12 year old kid and thought that was the best game I had ever seen.

You're right. I kept thinking Eli's first year as Alabama's radio annoucer was 1990.

From the tv view, it looked like if Cody had not gotten it, whoever was jumping up in the back would have gotten it. Was that Julio back there jumping up. Krymsonman

Yeah it was Julio, I believe he would've gotten it too.

Looked to me like it was headed left as well. Glad it never had a chance to start with though.

I was lucky enough to be at both games, this one was just a bit louder. Although I had lots of fun at Penn State too. Camera angle I saw on ESPN highlights also appeared that the kick was going left. I like the fact that we blocked it better than the kicker missing it.
