Remember late 60s/early 70s rockers Mountain? The song "Mississippi Queen"? That's how Leslie became famous; he was the guitarist & did a bunch of singing. Loud, nasty blues-rock picker that I enjoy hearing.

Anyway, seems Leslie was to play a show on the MS coast, but a leg infection flared up. Really flared up...they had to remove the lower part of one of his legs!

Diabetes sucks. Rock on, Leslie! Hope to hear you playing the guitar again soon!

Man that does indeed suck. I'm diabetic so I've got lots to look forward to. Mountain came out with
a cd about 12-15 years ago "A Man's World" and covered an old James Brown tune, but that was one of the best, hardest rocking cd's I had ever heard. I still play it often. The cd did contain a ballad called "I'm Sorry" which was really a beautiful thought provoking song. My first encounter with Mountain was "Nantucket Sleighride", another super LP.

Ditto on both. Natucket Sleighride--both song & album--are still among my faves. Very few singers ever like Felix P. I'm now intrigued about the CD you mentioned, as I'm not familiar w/ it. Thx for the heads-up!
