Well, we sure care about ours. The minute something goes south the complaint thread pops up lol.
In all honesty those complaints were earned yesterday..

We can handle losses actually, but, we can't handle being made too look like a cupcake team like yesterday & at Oklahoma last year..

Our Bama hearts can't handle that at alllll..

Not in our DNA to handle ANYTHING except how badly we looked kicking someone's rear end lol.

I think FSU is a pretty good team. This loss will not look as bad at the end of the season as it does now.

Based on what I saw yesterday, I'd say we're looking at an 8-4 season. Improvement and a little luck gets us to 9-3 and a spot in the playoffs. OTOH, a lack of improvement could result in a 7-5 season, or worse, which would be a disaster.

You make a valid point..We have been known to complain too if we didn't win big enough..

Yeahhhhh we're a spoiled bunch..Winning does that to a fan base when the Bama Standard wasn't met..😁😁
You hit on it, Bama Standard. I think that was a Nick Institution. People are reveling in our failures and weaknesses. The difference is that we have been on top of the mountain and with sustained success. They only have envy with jealousy.

Yup..It's scary too think our schedule doesn't get easier after next week..

Because the teams on our schedule all looked strong in wins & Texas didn't look terrible in their loss to Ohio St..

Exactly..The Bear set that standard a longgggg time ago..It's ingrained in our Crimson Tide DNA..

If we don't play any better & don't become more physical at the LOS on both sides of the ball..

If our coaching staff, doesn't come up with better game plans scheme wise, on both sides of the ball unfortunately..

We have a killer schedule coming up, the only sure wins, I see the rest of the year..

Is next week against ULM & Eastern Michigan, I'm just hoping FSU is just that good, with us rebounding having a great season making the playoffs & all is well in Tuscaloosa..

Next week will tell the tale of the Deboer Era at Alabama, mods if I'm being overly dramatic, please delete this post & I would understand..

Win or lose I will always love The Tide & will always support our boy's..Just like we did during the Shula Era at Bama..

We have too much talent on this team, too get manhandled like we did yesterday & last year at Oklahoma..

That's just my opinion..
Comments and concerns about the state of this team are warranted. Anyone wearing Crimson glasses and glossing over the current state of affairs is not being realistic. Bama has been getting manhandled at the line of scrimmage for more than just the last two years. In fact, one could argue that conditioning hasn’t been the same since Scott Cochran left. If they come out with the same not wanting to be here attitude the rest of the season, we will go 2-10 at best.

My confidence is low because of what I’ve saw effort wise, but that can be corrected so it’s more possible turning that around than a brutal injury or just a talent deficiency. If effort improves and this is just an outlier in this regard then i think our goals are still achievable. But that has to change and change fast. Wisconsin will be playing for their coach’s future.

With that said… I think we will be 2-1 going into Athens. DeBoer will be up for that game and Kirby struggles with talented passing games. Our defense last year dealt well with non mobile quarterback teams. So a win over Georgia wouldn’t shock me. Now what would shock me… beating Oklahoma. Their quarterback to me is the best in the country right now. I think 8-4 to 10-2 is our ceiling. I don’t see a 5 loss season yet because I don’t buy we are as bad as we were last night nor do i think many of these teams on our schedule are as great as they are. Outside of LSU, Oklahoma, and Texas I’m not so confident about the SEC. Yes Texas lost but on the road their defense was still legit and gave them a shot.

I agree 100% & right now I'm worried about just beating Vandy honestly..

Like I said im hoping FSU is just that good & we roll on to the playoffs, but, like you my confidence level is low like yours..

I’m still gonna watch every game and root my hardest but I’m done with kd and Wommack. I’m not seeing any growth from the team nor the staff. And what’s worse is they seemed totally flabbergasted that the things that haven’t worked still don’t work which is just….special. 7-5 might be it or 6-6 mayyyyybe 8-4 with some luck

Yup..I'll root just as hard for Bama no matter if we're 1-10 or 10-1

The first sentence of this post says it all. Be more physical. This coaching staff does not understand that. Alabama has gone from the best road team in football to terrible on the road under this staff. To quote Bobby Dobb, and implemented by Bear Bryant, you got to hit them hit them harder than they hit you to win. The first half of Saban's tenure was the epitome of this combined with great players. The second half not so much, but great quarterbacks and receivers saved the day until the very end.

I consider myself a very optimistic fan. For argument's sake, let's say that Saturday was a complete anomaly and we right the ship immediately. We play well the next two weeks, get a week off before UGA and Jam and Keenan are back for that game. We go into Athens and win.

We would be 3-1 and have a killer schedule remaining that we probably drop at least one or two more games along the way. At best, we are 10-2 and maybe have a shot at going to the SECCG, or we are back to 9-3.

Even if this were to play out, the problem I see is we have that 14 point FSU loss on our resume. Now we are being compared to other 10-2 or 9-3 ACC teams, and that loss, I'm afraid, is going to haunt us all year in a best case scenario. Therefore, I think we almost have to win the conference to make the playoffs this year.
