Looking for advice on attending a game

Hey all. My wife and I are thinking about trying to come down for the Houston game. I haven’t been to a basketball game since the 90’s and we haven’t even been to a Saban-coached football game! So needless to say, we don’t know the lay of the land for attending games anymore.

What’s the best way to get tickets? How is parking? How early should we get there? What else do we need to know?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Come in on University Blvd. Turn right by the frat houses. There is a parking lot there behind the frat houses (There is no charge) Park and take the shuttle. Go to rollide.com for tickets. If they are sold out use stub hub. All tickets are electronic and will on your phone. Stub hub guarantees the tickets to be genuine. Have fun and ROLL TIDE.

I bought the 2 game mini package to get Houston tickets. The 2nd game is this Friday, so I'll go to both. Single tickets are pretty much sold out on rolltide.com.

I may go and buy the 5 game package too. Beware that several of the date/days of the week listed on those games are wrong.

Parking could be a problem on December 11th vs. Houston. UA Winter Commencement is the SAME DAY. The basketball game does not start until 9:00 pm ON ESPN2! I wish you good luck.

It should cleared out by then but if it is an issue, park off of 15th street by Mr. Chins or T-town cafe. We park there now since we don't have parking passes this year.

That's what I'm planning on doing Friday. I did that the last game I attended (Missouri in CNO's first year) and it really worked well.

Thanks everybody! We got our tickets this morning when the rest of the single game tickets were released.

We’ve also got our room booked (I’m too old to drive back to Athens that late anymore).

It’s part of my wife’s birthday weekend so we are looking forward to it. Any restaurant recommendations? Mid-priced and locally owned preferably.

I'm partial to De Palmas down there if Italian is your thing. Not within walking distance of Coleman though.
