Love this team, but we are immature!

Yesterday was sickening. To be up by 24 points and loose. It is tough to swallow. The reality is we are a young team. No matter how many 4 and 5 star recruits are out on the field, they are still immature. We lost a lot of senior leadership last year and Auburn had a lot of senior leadership on the field. That was the difference in the game. The maturity of seniors to play with poise and the immaturity of 4 and 5 star freshmen, sophmores, and juniors to not play with poise. We simply lost our poise. Our team has a year to swallow this bitter pill and I believe it will make us a much better team next year because of it!

There is no need to blame the coaches. You can't coach maturity! You have to either learn from the nice teacher, that is from the wisdom of the coaches in what they tell you to do when the say play "every play like it has a life of its own" for 60 minutes or you have to learn the hard way from the bad teacher which is from bad experiences. This is a bad experience and I hope our team learns from it.

Our players have had to eat some humble pie and they will have to chew on it all year. I support them. I wish they didn't have to learn this way, but they do. I hope next year and in the bowl game we will be better because of it. Roll Tide!
