LSU at AUBURN

Guy predicted Auburn to lose 56-3 this morning. Scott and Scarbinsky said that wouldn't happen.

I don't THINK it will happen, but it certainly could.

If it does, Chiz will be looking with envy at John L Smith's situation.

It's fun to see them hope to lose only by 10-14. That'll be a moral victory for them.

Hearing some of our fans talk on the radio, I wouldn't be surprised if the caller was a Bama fan. Some of our fans have some bad rationale and thinking; thus, they call into radio shows. :)

Exactly. The ones that call into those shows are for the most part, clueless. LSU getting beat does not help us. We still have to take care of business. What does help is LSU being undefeated heading into the November 3rd game.

Some yo yo that claimed to be a Bama fan called in to one of morning sports shows in Birmingham the other day and said "listen, fellow Bama fans, we NEED auburn to beat LSU". One of the hosts asked him just why that was, and he replied "well, think about it. auburn has a conference loss to an SEC West team. If they beat LSU, then LSU will then have a conference loss to an SEC West team. That pretty much seals the deal and puts us in Atlanta." :conf2: All I could think when I heard that was......Mooooo. So, now the barners are resorting to calling in to sports call in shows and pretending to be Bama fans to try and get Bama fans to pull for them. Funny. Just too funny!

I don't get it. Even if LSU had a conference loss, we would still have to beat them. If LSU won and we both had 1 loss in the West, they would win the tiebreaker via the head-to-head win and would go to the SECC.

Scarbinsky knows deep down that LSU will probably blow his Auburn Tigers out. He's such a pathetic barn homer. Everyone knows it. Hell he used to be their beat writer. He has a vested interest in seeing Auburn do well for gosh sakes.

Have you read his columns since about July or listened to his radio show? He's not the pro-Auburn writer he was.

The only team I hate more than Auburn is LSU --

With that said -- I think Auburn will keep it close for a while ....

Auburn 10
LSU 10 at half

Auburn 13
LSU 38 Final

Well coming from a lifelong Bama fan who happens to be from Lee County (I escaped) AND graduated from the Barn (only place I could afford to go) AND married to an AU fan (I am trying to get her to see the light), I for one hope LSU beats AU as bad or worse than Bama beat Arky. I would love nothing more than to see AU beat so bad that it sets their program back a decade.

Call me crazy as well..I agree 100% with Tom..This is a classic trap game for LSWho(yes auburn has been reduced as a trap game)..While on paper this should be a blowout..Auburn still has some really good football players(they just lack coaching) & talent that will keep this game closer than most are predicting..You can betcha backside Jordan Hare will rocking saturday night..Plus..You have too remember The Hat is infamous for losing a game or two he should win..With that said..I'll say The Swamp Kittens win 31-17

I'm going against the grain here, I think LSSU comes in a little cocky. Home cooking from the refs. API poisons the drinking water making everyone there sick except their team then blame it on Bama. But seriously lucky, lucky lucky!

API 28
LSU 21

Now I gotta go take a shower.

Scabby is a PSU grad. Was probably molested by Sandusky at some point, which would explain some things. He hates Bama most of all, but wants to try to stay relevant by getting on *uburn. Doesnt want to be the only one not at the *uburn train wreck party.

Just saw a story on TV and alsoin today's paper about Updyke getting new lawyers. Funny how tree stories pop up right when bad things are happening in Boogtown.

Funny you say that, WSFA always talk about AU football when things are good but when things go bad with AU, they talk bout DEM TREES!

Auburn will keep this game close for as long as LSU wants this game to stay close. It's not like *U has a say in the matter or what not. While LSU isn't as good as last year, they are still light years better than Auburn. Throw in the fact that Auburn's QB is Kiehl Frazier, I don't see how Auburn keeps this game close after the first five minutes of the game.

Auburn's goal is to keep from being shut out at home, ala Arkansas against Bama.
