The little people. What do they know?

A majority of Americans disapproves of the FBI's recommendation not to charge Hillary Clinton with a crime over her handling of email while secretary of state, and a similar number in a new ABC News/Washington Post poll say the issue leaves them worried about how she'd handle her responsibilities as president if elected.

Most also say the email controversy won't affect their vote choice in the presidential election. But more say it leaves them less rather than more likely to support Clinton, 28 percent vs. 10 percent.

Overall, 56 percent disapprove of FBI Director James Comey's recommendation not to charge Clinton, while just 35 percent approve. Similarly, 57 percent say the incident makes them worried about how Clinton might act as president if she were elected, with most very worried about it. Just 39 percent feel the issue isn't related to how she'd perform as president.

Like I didn't see that coming. Liberal = free pass. Honestly, if this were a conservative they would be hounded and hounded and hounded by the liberal media until they would lose or just give up. The Liberal Pen is mightier than the Conservative Sword.

I feel fairly certain that Comey said to himself, "If there is any excuse, even the flimsiest one, to not charge H, I'm taking it. I will not be the one guy that stood in the way of the first woman president. If the voters think I screwed up, they can fix my error come November."

Much like Justice Roberts said, "The Congress legally passed his Obamacare bill. It is unconstitutional, so I'm going to rewrite it so I have a flimsy excuse to say it is constitutional and if the voters want it gone, they will have to elect congressmen that will overturn it. I will not do so."

Of course, that is not why we write down laws and constitutions.

These two have kicked the can down the road. It seems to have long been a sport in DC.

And folks, if you think what she did was devious BEFORE being President, simply imagine what she'll try (and get away with) when she hand picks the Attorney General and SCOTUS nominees.

That's the way they play the game in DC. The principled people making an effort - Ford pardoning Nixon to put it behind the nation and Bush actually agreeing to a deficit reduction package in 1990 - get attacked for principle and lose the next election. And someday when a Congress/President is actually confronted with it to the point they have to literally do something about it, if they actually DO something to maintain it then they will be targeted for their 'heartless' approach.

This goes on in primary politics, too, in both parties. They change the rules for a present situation but apply it down the line - and then that causes another problem that usually one person foresaw. I mean, it's kinda like the BCS. Address (notice I didn't say "fix") one problem, here comes a problem as a result of the solution.
