BREAKING Man Shot Dead Attempting To Enter Mar-A-Lago

So, he acquired some expertise or got very lucky on one day...

I would argue he was STILL a "lousy shot".

He missed his target 2 times out of 3.

But that's nothing.

In the movie "JFK", Kevin Costner (as Jim Garrison) has three teams of assassins - the most skilled marksmen in the world hired by the CIA - firing SIX shots and MISSING FIVE, which means if you apply logic to the movie, Oswald (33 1/3%) as a bad shot ("wudn't any good" as Walter Matthau said) was more than twice as accurate as three of the most skilled shooters in the world (16 1/2%).

I had to go to seminary to be exposed to some of this thinking (it was never really covered in any of my undergrad - hey, it was Music Ed so....)

But one day a bunch of us are sitting around chatting and one guy points out - and it was so obvious that it was embarrassing - that "the thing with conspiracy theories is that every bit of evidence that refutes it is EVIDENCE IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED."

That's the moment I realized how pointless it was talking to these people.

The problem with most conspiracies is the level of secrecy that is at play. JFK, 911, and the moon landing. There have been zero deathbed confessions. Not one. Now we have had some conspiracies that turned out to be true, but the reason we know they are now true is because someone talked. The three I mentioned, not one person ever.

The moon landing is one that can get my blood boiling. One there were moon landing. Plural. So the conspiracy is we faked it 6 times and faked a failed attempt? Seriously?

How do you figure that? The WC decided there were three shots. One was the headshot, that's one. The other was a miss that hit a curb and the ricochet clipped a man named James Tague. The other shot is the so-called "magic bullet" that went through Kennedy and Connolly causing multiple wounds. Sounds like two hits; one miss. Unless the magic bullet counts as multiple hits, in which case we have 4 hits to one miss with three bullets.

Unless you're trying to argue he WAS NOT shooting AT THE HEAD of Kennedy, he missed the intended target 2 out of 3 times.

Also "magic bullet" is a straw man since the WC showed years ago the alignments were sufficient.

There's this dweeb out there, a KJVO guy who is what Donald Trump would be if he wanted to be a Bible scholar (and coincidentally is also from Queens).

In his attempts to defend the KJV Bible, years ago he decided the Codex Sinaiticus (the oldest complete NT manuscript in Greek that we possess) was actually forged by a con man named Simonides in 1840 (Simonides claimed such in 1862 but nobody takes it seriously today). His arguments are so transparently bad that not long ago a book on the subject referenced him (anonymously) and declared such logic would deny the moon landing(s) actually occurred.

He AGREES with that.

There's more: he also has suggested that atomic bombs never existed, which does beg the question why Japan cooperates in this conspiracy with a memorial in Hiroshima.

I still believe there had to be a 2nd spitter… behind the bushes on the gravely road.

Ruckman?

Ah, okay. I thought you were referring to actual hits rather than exclusively head shots. My bad.

There are numerous problems with their alignments when compared to the actual footage, but that's neither here nor there as this is not a JFK thread. Fun fact: the term "magic bullet" wasn't an invention of Oliver Stone. It was coined by the late Mark Lane way back in 1966. I have read many a tome on this subject and I am prepared to admit that there is something inherently unhealthy regarding knowing more about a day in 1963 than I remember about yesterday. I'm kind of over it now since most Americans have finally accepted the fact that there are sinister forces at work in this country, even if they don't know who they are. In this regard, that is one positive about the Epstein files.

If you don't mind my asking, who is this guy? Is he published?
